Getting started
picoBeat is an online personnal organize that is designed to track your appointments, chores, contacts, notes, etc. It's free, intuitive and fully online, so you can use from anywhere with access to the Internet.
Because you most likely have existing data lying around, there are many ways to import them into picoBeat and save you the effort of retyping everything.

Importing datas from your cell phone
Many modern cell-phones support synchronization using SyncML. Configuring your phone to synchronize with picoBeat allows you to share your contacts, notes and tasks on your phone and on your picoBeat account. picoBeat supports multiple synchronization devices, so if you have multiple phones they can all keep in sync with picoBeat!
Windows Smartphone or Pocket PC organizer
You can install picoBeat Sync on your device, and synchronize it by choosing the "Upload only" option. This will automatically upload events, tasks and contacts to picoBeat.
If you are using a mail client
Most mail clients can export their address book in a vCard format. This format can then be imported into picoBeat.
If you are using another calendaring application
Almost all calendaring programs support exporting their content (events and tasks) into an iCalendar file. This can also be imported into picoBeat.
If you are using Windows Vista contacts
Vista store contacts information in the "Contacts" folder, as individual files. You can import them into picoBeat. Bundle them first in a single ZIP file if you have many, it also works!
